In the context of the beginning of the electoral registration of Venezuelans in the world, the human rights organization Stichting  Venezolaanse Vluchtelingen as allies of the GANA project and Mi voto cuenta , important efforts were deployed on March 18, 2024 to monitor and guarantee a fair and transparent process.

However, it was evident that Venezuelans residing in the Netherlands face a lack of information from the Venezuelan embassy about the electoral registration requirements.

In addition to its informative role, the organization led an active presence during the electoral registration, highlighting the lack of participation of Venezuelan society in the Netherlands in carrying out the Electoral Registration that day, and denouncing the electoral blockade faced by expatriate Venezuelan citizens with wishes. to exercise the right to vote.

Stichting Venezolaanse Vluchtelingen not only limited themselves to observing the process, but also used their platform to protest against what they consider an obstruction to the democratic exercise and fraudulent elections.

Through slogans, chants and expressions of rejection of Nicolás Maduro's regime, human rights activists raised their voices in solidarity with Venezuelan refugees who are victims of the political, social and humanitarian crisis in their country of origin.

Stichting Venezolaanse Vluchtelingen will continue until next April 26 permanently in the prominent role in the coordination of resources and the dissemination of key information for the Venezuelan community in the Netherlands.
